Hello dears! Almost every day of last week, I've been working on the small hotel renovation. This is a lovely opportunity to wonder around in the center of Nafplio instead of the suburbs... It's such a lovely town with beautiful buildings and views everywhere! So you get to see some nice pics of the town, instead of the usual background of orange trees !!
For those of you who missed that post, I'm just helping out Rania (my mother's cousin), to freshen up her small lovely pansion in Nafplio. She's a very pleasant and nice girl and even though I'm not an interior designer professionally, I was more than glad to offer some help!! This is the lovely neighborhood the pansion is located and we're currently working on the top-floor/attic.
A lot of the talking and arranging takes place at the corner cafe across the pansion to combine business with small pleasures!
And this is a typical outfit of the working week in an attempt to be stylish, comfortable and weather appropriate! (the last being a bit difficult since the weather has gone nuts....)
Outfit:
Skirt - Sprider stores
Top - Sprider stores
Jacket - Ysatis
Shoes - Urban Outfitters
Bag - Hondos Center
Earings - handmade (by me)
Glasses - Dior Today was one of those days (we chose fabrics)!. But now, I'm back home and we're listening to my amazing man's record collection! Yes, that's vinyl, thank you very much!!
I guess that when it comes to the dilemma of free time vs. money, we choose the first!! See you all next time! Stay happy!
Oh Dimi- what a fun opportunity for you- My Mum is fixing up an old house in Canada and I would love to help her out- is a pansion like a mansion? I've always wanted to visit Greece and these photos prove hos beautiful it is- and you look beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteYes it is lovely! I'm keeping busy, that's something, right? Your mom is lucky, I love old houses! We wish it was a mansion, but a pansion is really a small hotel!! (this one has 6 rooms, I guess the word is french?). You're always welcome to visit and you now have a friend with a house here!! Kisses :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day and view. The cafe looks like heaven! I adore your look and the mix of warm and cool colors. It seems very comfortable and perfect for an outdoor cafe.

I love these types of post ... they're real and have such awesome depth. I can just imagine how much fun you are having, discussing the changes and making choices. Hope your week is fabulous.

Thank you girls!! Welcome! I'll follow back! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous town! It makes me want to visit Greece someday. It looks sooo different than any place I've ever visited before.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Jenn! Nafplio is a beautiful and unique town. It's a mixture of greek, turkish and venetian influences with a very romantic feel! Come over anytime!! :)
ReplyDeletethose glasses are beeeeutiful! and I have to agree, we are different shapes, but you are hot lady! you have a gorgeous figure, and I love the bohemian vibe you work so effortlessly :) sorry if I don't check back often enough! I am such a bad blog friend, forgive me?!? I have been working 75 hours a week :( it's so stupid! now what is this I am reading about a hotel renovation? that sounds like a TON of work, but so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Alex! The point is "different is good"!! I think I rock the bohemian due to natural laziness...
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about commenting all the time! Blog friendships work in a different pace I think! I'm currently unemployed and although I'm working on my "housewife" skills, I decorate and make jewellery, I still have time to view a loooooot of blogs everyday! I don't demand the same from working people or people with families!
And yes, the decorating keeps me very happy, because I have a natural sense of balance and good aesthetics, so it's effortless when I get along with the client! (in this case - my cousin!Ha)
Take care - kisses :)
