Khaki Snow White

Today of all days I decided to go for a coffee with a friend. Why am I saying that, you might ask? Because I'm a person that truly despises cold weather and today was THE coldest day in years! You don't believe me? Really.... look.....

Can you see that tiny bit of frost? I call that heavy snow! And I've seen snow 3 times in my hometown for as long as I live !! Yay!! And that's me going out. In. the. cold:

Freezing my b**t in the line of blogging duty, so that you can all see the alley in front of our house and how I made my hair for this post (but you can't see that I guess...!)

It's the easiest thing you can do for wavy hair actually and even I can do it! (look at no 3 of this list). Check the tutorial made by that sweet girl, Julie of Orchid Gray here! (It works wonders - Thank you dear Julie!

Skirt - Attrativo
White Shirt - Attrativo
Black sweater - the one I wear all the time!
Khaki cardigan - Urban Outfitters
Grey Scarf - American Apparel
Black Scarf - from the boutique I was working
Shoes - Hunter
Bag - Deux Hommes (free from a magazine!)
Necklace - Handmade by me!

One more necklace I made! I named it "Snow White" (hence the title), because of the cute wooden apple and the lovely white beads I used! Here is how I wore it, but the length can be adjusted!

Until next time.... x x x !

  1. We, your blog-audience, convey our deeply-felt appreciation and gratitude to you for your bravery in facing the cold weather in the service of the blog. We're working on having a medal forged in your honor; the blacksmith says it will be ready soon.

  2. Thank you, thank you!! And being the very modest person that I am.... I'll accept it!! (that was the funniest comment btw!). Have a nice day dear Ralph!

  3. Really brave to wear a skirt and heels in such a cold weather! You deserve the medal for sure! ;-)
    One more challenge for you:

  4. Eeek I hate cold weather too! But you braved it with a smile on your face :D I love all the green you're wearing and I hope warm weather comes to you SOON!

  5. Thank you all guys!! It's still cold and I think I now have some of the flu the bf had a while ago!

  6. Awesome neclace, Dimi. And yes, it's been pretty shivery here recently, despite the sunshine. Brrrr.

Thanks for you comment on my old comsumerism post by the way. I agree that you guys in Greece are going to have a hard time of it. Spain, where my boyfriend is from is pretty hard hit too, though I still saw lots of people shopping and being consumerist while I was there...

  7. Thank you Emily! I really value your opinion you know!
Consumerism is a hot topic in my list! We've been suffering for many years in Greece and the situation is at a dead-end. Unemployment rate among young people (20-30) reached 35%! It's scary.
Of course people that consume like the end of the world is upon us, still exist here too.

  8. i love the colour of your jacket and that necklace!

  9. I love all the photos :)
nice blog :) i'm gonna visit it again :)

  10. Thank you Fhen and Anula and welcome to my blog!! I checked both of your blogs and I like them! It's so great to meet new people, especially from different countries and cultural backgrounds! Please come by anytime you want!!
    Kisses, D.

  11. Your cold look is adorable, though. I'm beginning to despise the cold, too. Ugh. Too bad I'm flying back home to it in less than 24 hours.

I like that necklace, too. You are so talented. I can't believe you made it!

  12. Oh thanks for your honest support my dear Ashley!! I have so many ideas for jewellery you can't believe!
You're my hero for living in such a cold place! Too bad your holidays are over!

  13. I also love making necklaces! This one is adorable, and Snow White is a sweet name indeed! Snow White was my first pet cat way back when I was in Pre school. Thanks for the lovely comments Dimi, I'm flattered, I really enjoyed your personality=) Are your glasses real? They absolutely rock your face!+ I love reading books as well! It's a life.

  14. Oh thank you so much dear girl!! I really love your paintings! Glasses 100% real - I can't see a thing without those babies since 8 years old! I'm glad to have met you!!
