Khaki Snow White

Today of all days I decided to go for a coffee with a friend. Why am I saying that, you might ask? Because I'm a person that truly despises cold weather and today was THE coldest day in years! You don't believe me? Really.... look.....

Can you see that tiny bit of frost? I call that heavy snow! And I've seen snow 3 times in my hometown for as long as I live !! Yay!! And that's me going out. In. the. cold:

Freezing my b**t in the line of blogging duty, so that you can all see the alley in front of our house and how I made my hair for this post (but you can't see that I guess...!)

It's the easiest thing you can do for wavy hair actually and even I can do it! (look at no 3 of this list). Check the tutorial made by that sweet girl, Julie of Orchid Gray here! (It works wonders - Thank you dear Julie!

Outfit:

Skirt - Attrativo
White Shirt - Attrativo
Black sweater - the one I wear all the time!
Khaki cardigan - Urban Outfitters
Grey Scarf - American Apparel
Black Scarf - from the boutique I was working
Shoes - Hunter
Bag - Deux Hommes (free from a magazine!)
Necklace - Handmade by me!

One more necklace I made! I named it "Snow White" (hence the title), because of the cute wooden apple and the lovely white beads I used! Here is how I wore it, but the length can be adjusted!

Until next time.... x x x !

  6. Awesome neclace, Dimi. And yes, it's been pretty shivery here recently, despite the sunshine. Brrrr.

Thanks for you comment on my old comsumerism post by the way. I agree that you guys in Greece are going to have a hard time of it. Spain, where my boyfriend is from is pretty hard hit too, though I still saw lots of people shopping and being consumerist while I was there...

  7. Thank you Emily! I really value your opinion you know!
Consumerism is a hot topic in my list! We've been suffering for many years in Greece and the situation is at a dead-end. Unemployment rate among young people (20-30) reached 35%! It's scary.
Of course people that consume like the end of the world is upon us, still exist here too.

  11. Your cold look is adorable, though. I'm beginning to despise the cold, too. Ugh. Too bad I'm flying back home to it in less than 24 hours.

I like that necklace, too. You are so talented. I can't believe you made it!
